Most kids have a lot of energy. Sometimes their energy surpasses that of their parents and caregivers. Obviously, every energetic child does not have ADHD.
What does ADHD look like at home? It is important to remember that ADHD is a diagnosis that can only be made a doctor. The following checklist provides a starting point for parents and caregivers when considering taking a child for professional evaluation.

It's important to note that many children who are "diagnosed" with ADD or ADHD are just visual spatial learners--sometimes even gifted.

Also, typical American children consume additives such as high fructose corn syrup and red dye 40 on a daily basis. This can indeed affect the behavior of some children. Chemical sensitivity is common in gifted children as well...Something to think about.
